Our leadership team have been managing sustainable investments for over a decade and have experienced the challenges faced when you make a commitment to invest sustainably. Greg Easton
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Greg has held senior investment management roles for over 20 years, with MitonOptimal, Capital International and as MD of Ravenscroft Isle of Man.
Greg is recognised as a leader of sustainable investment business, in 2023 he received the Isle of Man Institute of Directors Sustainable Director of the Year Award.
He is CFA Level 4 qualified, holds the Diploma in ESG Investment Management, the CFA Certificate in Climate & Investing and the STEP Certificate in International Trust Management with Distinction. He is a member of the CFA Society United Kingdom, a member of STEP and sits on the STEP Isle of Man Education Committee.
Core Resilience: In 2022, Greg completed the 85-mile Parish Walk in a time of 22hrs 10 minutes.

Chris Bell
INVESTMENT DIRECTOR
Chris has over 20 years of experience leading investment desks and managing private and institutional client portfolios and relationships.
Chris epitomises investment professionalism, clients regard him as their ‘safe pair of hands’ for their wealth and a steady presence helping chart volatile investment markets.
Chris will continue to manage the existing client portfolios and leads the investment decision making and implementation process.
Core Resilience: Chris has led the Isle of Man investment desk through the pandemic and through two changes of ownership, his constancy is the foundation of our business.

James Fitzpatrick
INVESTMENT DIRECTOR
James joined Resilience in January 2024 having previously worked at Capital International. He has over 20 years of experience as an investment manager. His experience ranging from managing private client to institutional client portfolios and relationships.
James will spearhead the management of the Core Resilience portfolios, optimizing asset allocation for maximum returns. He has, in his career, successfully navigated through various market cycles, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in changing economic landscapes.
Core Resilience: James relocated with his young family to the Isle of Man from South Africa at the very start of the pandemic and for a time was stranded in the UK, they are now rooted and flourishing on the island.

Kim Quirk
HEAD OF RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
Kim was born and educated in South Africa and moved to the Isle of Man in 2003 where her career in financial services began. Developing strong relationships is key to the success of her 19 years of experience, which she has gained working for a major retail bank, a private bank and a large financial services group. Kim has undertaken a variety of roles including relationship management and business development of personal, corporate and fiduciary clients; focusing on their specific banking, lending and investment-related requirements.
Kim is a Chartered Member of CISI and Associate member of the Institute of Directors and holds the Investment Advice Diploma and CeMap qualifications.
Core Resilience: Kim loves the outdoors and likes to take part in the various charity walks across the beautiful island. Kim’s favourite place is the Kruger National Park in South Africa where her and her family regularly visit.
Craig Dalton
HEAD OF OPERATIONS
A qualified banker, foreign exchange dealer and cash manager, Craig has worked in senior roles covering Investment Administration, Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, Cash Management and Foreign Exchange, Operations Management, Continuous Improvement, Product Development and Product Management, in a career spanning some 25 years.
Craig’s diverse talents, as well as knowledge and experience of working in the finance industry on the Isle of Man, lend themselves extremely well to his role as Head of Operations for Resilience.
Core Resilience: Craig can be seen at any time of the year “dipping” in the waters of the Isle of Man for wellness, both in the sea and in the river pools of the Islands glens, where the temperature can drop as low as just a few degrees Celsius.
Kirsten Odendaal
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Kirsten spent 9 years in the hospitality industry in South Africa, during which time her passion for accounting was born. Between 2001 and 2023 she and her husband Roelf ran their own Family Advisory business ‘Turnstone’. They moved to the IOM in 2005 to fulfil their ambitions of growing the business and in 2023 sold the client base to Boston MFO, where the additional resources available can allow services offered to continue to grow, be more defined and more bespoke.
Core Resilience: Kirsten and Roelf love life on the Island, having originally planned to only be here for 5 years they are now in their 19th year, they love the lifestyle and freedom here and have found it a fabulous place to raise a family.
Simon Harding
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Simon is a chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor with over 25 years’ experience in financial services. He started his career in audit in London in 1994, before specialising in tax from 1998 onwards. In 2012 Simon joined Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, where he led the build-out of their structured lending and leasing franchise focusing on the shipping sector. Simon moved to the Isle of Man in 2012 to set up an office for CACIB, which he managed until he resigned in 2023.
As Finance Director Simon will be responsible for the financial activities and strategies of Resilience Asset Management (IOM) Limited.
Core Resilience: Simon is a keen and accomplished road cyclist and competed in the 45>50 category at the UCI World Championships in Glasgow in August 2023.
Graeme Snape
COMPLIANCE & MLRO
Graeme is a highly qualified compliance professional with a passion for all things compliance, regulatory, risk and data privacy. Having worked in the financial services sector for over 45 years he says that the last 30, within his speciality of governance, regulatory, risk and compliance disciplines, have delivered the greatest satisfaction and, yes, fun!
He has held and undertaken, since 1995 , Head of Compliance and Compliance Director roles across a spectrum of financial services businesses.
Core resilience: 2010 saw Graeme become a founder member and chair of the Isle of Man’s compliance profession trade body – Alliance of Isle of Man Compliance Professionals (“AICP”), a devotion which continues some 14 years later.
John Bateson
COMPANY SECRETARY & DMLRO
Having qualified as a Marine and Environmental Biologist at the University of St. Andrews, John thereafter began a career in the financial services industry holding various positions including COO, Director, Secretary, MLRO and Non-Executive Director on a number of Isle of Man, BVI, Cyprus and UK companies.
With over 30 years’ experience in the offshore CSP/TSP industry, including with companies listed on the LSE, AIM and ISDX (previously PLUS) markets, John has considerable knowledge and experience of UK, BVI and IOM company secretarial practice, administration and statutory compliance matters, a resume which makes John a great fit for his role as Resilience Company Secretary.
Core Resilience: John is a keen golfer and ex-rugby player and supporter of The Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation.

Roelf Odendaal
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Roelf holds an MBA in International business from the University of Birmingham.
Having been in the fiduciary and family business advisory sectors for the past 20 years he has a great deal of insight into how families become successful and, unfortunately, sometime not. He is passionate to see families succeed firstly, as a family unit, and secondly in their business, transferring the family wealth to future generations.
Roelf’s knowledge and experience in his role as Non-Executive Director of Resilience, providing independent oversight, constructive challenge, and strategic guidance to the executive management team, will be critical to our success.
Core Resilience: Roelf is a published author and has contributed to several printed works, including most recently “The Practical Guide for Wealthy Families and Family Offices”.

Bobby Couves qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant over 20 years ago. He is a seasoned finance professional with expertise in management accounting and taxation. He leverages his skills to offer tailored financial solutions to clients ranging from individuals and start-ups to Medium Sized companies. Additionally, Bobby is passionate about serving his community and contributes as a board member to non-profit organizations, bringing his financial acumen to support their missions. With a commitment to excellence and a dedication to making a positive impact, Bobby empowers clients to achieve financial success while fostering positive change in society.

Stephen Black
FINANCE DIRECTOR
Steve began his working career at Irvin & Johnson where he attained the position of Cost & Management Accountant. He then worked in the United Kingdom for 8 years as an accountant. His first position was with Barclay’s Bank in Jersey, on the Channel Islands. He then worked in London for some of the major banking & insurance institutions – Deutsch Bank, Santander Bank & Lloyd’s of London, Equitas. Steve has held positions of the FD of JSE listed companies in South Africa. Steve works with an UK based Investment company while at the same time running his own accounting & tax consultancy company in South Africa. Currently Steve serves as an executive director on the board of Resilience Asset Management SA, head quartered in Cape Town.

Lauren Potgieter
BUSINESS MANAGER
Lauren joined Resilience in March 2024 having worked previously at Divergence Capital. She has more than 15 years of experience in the admin and operations side of both non-profit and for profit businesses.
Lauren will oversee the onboarding of new clients and will be involved in liaising with service providers and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the business on a day to day basis.
Core Resilience: Lauren is a born and bred Capetonian who loves running in the beautiful city of Cape Town. She will be completing her 9th Two Oceans Half Marathon in April 2024 with a goal of getting her ‘Blue Number’ in her 10th race in 2025.

Tracy Lautenbach
ADMINISTRATOR
Tracy joined the administrative team in 2022, with a fresh perspective and a keen desire to learn. Despite being new to this specific sector, her rapid acquisition of knowledge and application of skills has made her a valuable part of the team. Tracy brings to the table a rich tapestry of organisational and administrative expertise, accumulated over 20 years and spanning several industries.
Her role, primarily focused on managing new client accounts, showcases Tracy’s remarkable adaptability and her commitment to excellence in every task she undertakes.
When not busy with client accounts, Tracy dedicates her time to cultivating her entrepreneurial venture in the hospitality industry. Here, she leverages her considerable experience and passion for service excellence, further underscoring her multifaceted professional capabilities and commitment to growth both within and beyond her primary work environment.
